FAPG Lobby Day 2025
Florida Capitol – Tallahassee
Tuesday, November 18, 2025
Make Your Voice Heard
Join the Florida Association of Professional Geologists (FAPG) in Tallahassee for our annual Lobby Day, where professional geologists from across the state come together to engage directly with legislators, advocate for licensure, and educate decision-makers about the vital role geoscience plays in protecting Florida’s environment, infrastructure, and communities.
This year’s Lobby Day comes at a critical time. After defeating harmful legislation in the 2025 Session, we must stay engaged and prepared. Lawmakers will return in 2026 with new proposals—and we must ensure geology remains represented and respected.
What to Expect
-
Pre-event briefing on current legislation and talking points
-
Meetings with legislators and staff in the Capitol
-
Networking lunch with fellow geologists and allies
-
Opportunities to showcase the impact of geology in Florida
Whether you're new to advocacy or a seasoned professional, your presence makes a difference. Help us protect our profession, promote science-based policy, and strengthen our visibility at the Capitol.
